Planning a Trip to Wyoming
Yellowstone and Grand Teton share a boundary, so one trip covers both. The Tetons rise straight out of the valley floor with no foothills in the way.
What to Do in Wyoming
Shoot the Tetons from Schwabacher Landing
Still water reflecting the range. The pullout holds fifteen cars.
Work Yellowstone from the lower loop
Grand Prismatic, Old Faithful, the canyon. Two days minimum.
Drive Lamar Valley at dawn or dusk
Bison herds, and wolves if you brought binoculars.
Float the Snake below the range
Scenic floats run out of Jackson all summer. Moose on the banks.
