What to Do in Joshua Tree
Walk the Hidden Valley loop first
One flat mile ringed by the boulders the park is known for.
Be at Keys View for sunset
The Coachella Valley and the San Andreas Fault from 5,000 feet.
Hit the Cholla Garden in early light
Stay on the boardwalk; the segments come off on contact.
Stay out after dark
It's a Dark Sky Park. Give your eyes twenty minutes to adjust.
