Planning a Trip to Palm Springs
A weekend town built for slow mornings. The tram climbs 8,500 feet in ten minutes, and Joshua Tree is a short drive out the back door.
What to Do in Palm Springs
Ride the tram and pack a layer
Forty degrees colder at the top than in the parking lot.
Hike Palm Canyon early
A real oasis fifteen minutes from downtown. Gates open at eight.
Do a slow architecture drive
Twin Palms and Vista Las Palmas, block after block of it.
